Deep breath, slow exhale
At midnight last night, England entered our third national lockdown. The other three UK nations, and countries around the world, face their own tougher restrictions too.
The best response I can think of: take a moment for a deep reviving breath in, slowly breathing out a promise to be kind to oneself and to others. Recalibrate plans for January and February. Devise a daily schedule to give the days some structure (even as simple as a get-out-of-bed time each morning). Plan some nourishing meals, rather than just eating. Reach out to others who may be struggling. Ask for help whenever you need it. And make sure to take the opportunity to MOVE every day.
